It is with deep sorrow that we have learned of the passing of His Excellency Dr. Rodrigo Borja Cevallos, former President of the Republic of Ecuador.

On behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of Ghana, I extend my sincere condolences to his family and the people of Ecuador. President Borja Cevallos will be remembered for his principled leadership, unwavering commitment to democracy and enduring contribution to constitutional governance.
