Embassy Conducts Consular Visit to Support Ghanaian Community in Criciúma

The Embassy of the Republic of Ghana in Brazil undertook a consular outreach visit to Criciúma in the state of Santana Catarina, Brazil, from 5th to 9th February 2026, to provide essential consular services to members of the Ghanaian community residing in the area.

During the outreach, the Embassy assisted compatriots with passport renewal applications and the issuance of Consular Inscription documents, which are required to regularize their residence and work permits in Brazil.

The exercise enabled many Ghanaian nationals to access critical services without having to travel long distances to the Embassy, reaffirming the Mission’s commitment to providing accessible and efficient consular support to Ghanaian citizens across Brazil.

The Embassy remains dedicated to strengthening engagement with the Ghanaian diaspora and ensuring that citizens receive the necessary assistance to live and work legally in Brazil.
