On the sidelines of the XI Ministerial Meeting of the Zone of Peace and Cooperation of the South Atlantic (ZOPACAS), held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 7th to 10th April 2026, the Honourable Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Honourable James Quayson, together with the Deputy Head of Mission, Ms. Charlotte Otuwa Odum, held a brief strategic meeting with the President of the Afro Chamber Brazil. Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral collaboration in the areas of trade promotion, investment opportunities, diaspora engagement, and broader economic cooperation, with particular emphasis on fostering partnerships between Ghanaian and Brazilian businesses and enhancing private-sector participation in mutually beneficial initiatives.
